Overview:

     The Live and Event preventive maintenance is responsible for ensuring the seamless technical operation and preventive maintenance of immersive multimedia systems and equipment used during live events.

This role demands technical proficiency, proactive maintenance scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure a superior immersive experience for audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1-  Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of multimedia equipment, including projectors, VR/AR devices, and audio-visual systems.
  • Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact live operations.

2-  Event Support

  • Provide on-site technical support during live events to ensure all immersive systems function smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions during events.

3-  System Setup and Calibration

  • Assist in the setup, testing, and calibration of multimedia and projection systems before each event.
  • Ensure all systems are optimized for maximum performance and audience engagement.

 4-  Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with the Immersive Experience team, designers, and external vendors to coordinate technical requirements for live events.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for technical queries related to preventive maintenance and event operations.

 5-  Equipment Management

  • Monitor inventory levels of technical equipment and consumables, ensuring availability for upcoming events.
  • Propose upgrades or replacements for outdated or underperforming equipment.

 6- Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to safety protocols during maintenance and event operations.
  • Ensure all technical setups comply with industry standards and regulations.

Qualification

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Multimedia Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years in a technical role involving live events, multimedia systems, or preventive maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced projection systems, VR/AR equipment, and audio-visual technologies.

Skills:

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining multimedia equipment.
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills for event preparation and execution.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for team collaboration and issue resolution.

Preferred:

  • Certifications in AV or multimedia technologies.
  • Experience in immersive or interactive multimedia environments.
